Benches Recalled By Ross Stores Due To Fall Hazard

Ross Stores Inc., in cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is voluntarily recalling 39” St. Anne Acacia Benches because the frame can collapse, posing a fall hazard.

To date, the company has received to incident reports but no one was injured.

The recalled benches are SKU 400037765413 and manufacturer style number GB1F printed on a hangtag attached to the bench.


The benches were sold nationwide at Ross Stores in March 2009.

Consumers are advised to stop using the benches and to return them to any Ross Store for a refund.

If you have suffered an injury in conjunction with the recalled product, CPSC wants to know about it. You can fill out an incident report on their Web site.
